What Your Child Will Experience

During this 90-minute guided experience, children explore hands-on learning stations that encourage curiosity, discovery, and a love for nature.

Activities may include:

  • Observing real butterfly eggs using magnification

  • Gentle caterpillar handling with gloves

  • Viewing chrysalises and preserved butterflies

  • Exploring real nectar and host plants

  • Learning butterfly and caterpillar anatomy

  • Asking questions and engaging in open conversation

  • Participating in guided discovery activities such as a nature scavenger hunt

If a butterfly naturally emerges on the day of your event, a release may be possible. This is never guaranteed and depends on timing and nature.

Two short 2–5 minute breaks are built in to support attention spans and allow time for snacks, cake, and birthday moments.

  • We are now booking summer birthday parties from June 20 through August 20.

    Available days: Saturdays and Sundays

    • 2:00 PM

    • 6:00 PM

    Our experiences are designed for children ages 3 and up and offer a calm, hands-on nature experience centered around real butterfly life stages and discovery.

  • $325 for a 90-minute birthday party (up to 10 children)

    We are a mobile experience and come to you throughout the greater Houston area.


    Travel fees may apply for extended distances.

    Additional children may be accommodated with advance notice.

  • Parties can be hosted indoors or outdoors.

    For outdoor events, a pop-up tent is provided to create a shaded learning space.

    Indoor setups work great as well.

    This experience works well in backyards, homes, community spaces, local parks, and open indoor rooms. We simply need enough space for 1 table and room for children to gather comfortably on floor surface.

  • Families may enhance their party with one optional activity.
    Each add-on is $30 and extends the experience by approximately 20–30 minutes.

    To keep the experience meaningful and manageable, we limit parties to one add-on.

    While children enjoy the add-on activity, the observation table remains open for continued exploration, and parents are welcome to observe.
