Celebrate with Butterflies!

A nature-filled, educational birthday experience for children ages 3 and up.

What’s Included – Party Package ($200)

This 1.5-hour experience includes:

  • Live observation stations

    • Butterfly eggs (magnified)

    • Caterpillar handling with gloves

    • Chrysalises (view-only)

    • Preserved butterflies in jars

  • Plant observation
    Children explore real nectar and host plants while learning how butterflies depend on them for survival.

  • Butterfly & caterpillar anatomy lesson

  • Make-A-Wish Butterfly Release
    A butterfly release is not guaranteed, but may be possible if a butterfly has naturally emerged on the day of your event.

  • Built-in break times
    Two short breaks are included to support attention spans. These are perfect moments for offering a snack, juice, cutting cake, or singing happy birthday.

  • Tent provided for outdoor parties
    If your event is outdoors, we’ll bring a pop-up tent to create a shaded learning area. Indoor setups work great too — we’re flexible!

🌱 Craft Add-Ons (30 minutes each)

Each craft add-on includes all materials, pre-party preparation, and guided hands-on time for up to 10 children.
All crafts are take-home keepsakes.

  1. Make a Caterpillar
    Design your own fuzzy caterpillar by choosing colorful pom-poms and adding pipe cleaner antennae. Includes a magnet for display at home.

    Create a colorful butterfly using a coffee filter and markers. Comes with a magnet for display at home.

  3. Plant for a Butterfly
    Fill a plastic pot with soil and native flower seeds to grow your own butterfly-friendly garden at home.
    Ages: All ages • Cost: $60

  4. Paint a Rock
    Decorate a garden rock with pollinator-friendly designs using acrylic paints.
    Ages: 5+ • Cost: $50

  5. Paint a Pot
    Personalize a terracotta pot with acrylic paints to take home and grow in.
    Ages: 5+ • Cost: $60

  6. STEM Flower Craft
    Learn how flowers drink through their stems in this colorful and hands-on science activity.
    Ages: 5+ • Cost: $60

  7. Butterfly Water Puddler
    Build a mini worm farm and pollinator water station in one! Children choose marbles to decorate the top saucer, which holds water for bees and butterflies. The terracotta pot below is filled with soil and compost scraps to create a home for worms that help enrich garden soil.
